Updates + Comic Con Portugal

Now that I have emotionally recovered from seeing and talking to my role model a.k.a my one true love a.k.a Natalie Dormer, on saturday, I feel like I'm finally ready to talk. *deep breath*

So, November. I can basically sum it up with these words:

  • schoolwork
  • cold weather
  • PUPPY
  • schoolwork
  • problems at home
  • Twin Peaks
The cold weather and schoolwork points are pretty much self explanatory, right? Then we have PUPPY, because I got to spend 2 whole weeks with the most adorable baby chihuahua ever (after a whole year after my previous dog passed away), and I mean, come on. Just getting to be with a dog again made my whole month much much better. Sadly, a member of my family had a mental breakdown and had to go away for a few days, and was also diagnosed with depression. That actually brought the whole family much closer, since the realization that we really have to be here for each others, suddenly hit some people in the face. And that member from my family... well, she'll be okay, she's on medication now, and she's starting to smile and relax a bit more. Everything will be fine. Finally Twin Peaks which is a show that I'm more than 20 years late to watch but whatever wooo it's awesome woo!

Now let's get onto the real thing. Comic Con Portugal. The first ever in my country, with guest stars like my goddess Natalie Dormer. I just had to go. And so I went! And it was awesome and if it happens next year I'll be there again 100% sure! I got to meet internet friends, to meet classmates, I got to buy a crap load of geeky stuff, but most importantly... this:

                                          "To Inês, Best Wishes"
                                         4ever crying

This is probably the best picture of me ever taken - me after the autograph. What? Don't judge, it was a very emotional moment for me!

Will I ever shut up about getting to meet her? About getting to talk to her? About getting to look at her lovely face for 1 hour? Will I ever take off the necklace that I wore that day which she complimented by saying, and I quote, "it's absolutely gorgeous, it's just beautiful"? Nah, probably not.

Saturday was literally the day with more attendance, the whole place was bursting with people who came just to see Queen Nat. The queues started to become a mess, all disorganized, and lots of people couldn't get the autograph... well, most of them. I was one of the lucky ones, and we still had to wait hours in line. That shows true love.

Also, some of the cosplays I saw literally left my mouth hanging. The ones I'm about to show you are not even the best, and I know that for someone from America they might not even seem that good because of the quality of cosplays you guys have over there, but they're the only ones I got to take a picture of, and personally, I quite like them!
