Pompeii - Day 2

Now, on the second day of our trip, we all decided that, since we obviously had to check out Pompeii, we'de better do it right in the first days, and that was exactly what we did.

I can't even begin to describe how much that trip to the ancient roman city moved me. We were basically walking on graves that held overwhelmingly painful deaths. It all just felt unreal. It felt just like a ghost town. The buildings were partially intact, even on the streets you could see trails that the romans left and were preserved by the ashes. It's just mind blowing. I'm just sad that my head started to hurt a lot due to the sun and we had to head back sooner, but it was still a fantastic trip.

In the last pic, the people below were all applauding their guide who randomly started singing opera just because he wanted to show the acoustic of the theater. Also, the theater could hold at least 5k people! How crazy is that?!
